Dan Stapleton

Dan Stapleton is the Sourcing Category Lead for North America Freight and Logistics at Zimmer Biomet. In this role, Dan oversees all aspects of domestic and international transportation, warehousing and distribution, customs brokerage, and supply chain optimization. With extensive experience in global logistics and sourcing, Dan previously served as a Global Logistics Category Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he played a key role in developing a global warehousing and distribution model to support the company’s manufacturing expansions. His expertise includes international transportation, network modeling, freight and logistics sourcing, and global trade compliance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management and International Business from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and an MBA from the University of Scranton.
