Miguel F. Machado has over 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management mostly in Healthcare Supply Chain. Currently he is the Assistant Director for Supply Chain Management at Texas Children’s Hospital. Previously, he was the Director of Supply Chain Management and Hospital Operations for Harris Health System and the Director of Supply Chain Management for Baylor College of Medicine. He got his start in Healthcare Supply Chain at U.T.M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is a strategic visionary that has been responsible for the complete Procure-to-Pay function including, strategic sourcing, contracts, materials management, purchasing and inventory management. Overall, he brings close to 15 years of experience in leadership, change management and teamwork. Miguel is an active member of the Houston affiliate of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and member of the ISM Executive Advisory Board. He is also an active member of The Greater Houston Partnership (GHP), a non-profit organization that works to promote Houston's growth and success. He is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
