Patrick Schott

As Senior Director, Global Performance Excellence, Patrick Schott is responsible for leading the centers of excellence and business transformation for the Global Customer Care and Order Operations organization. Our global COEs seek to scale and optimize transformation that improves the Medtronic customer experience, drives operational efficiency, and enables growth at scale. Patrick has more than 15 years of experience in developing strategy and executing initiatives that transform healthcare technology, biotech, and pharmaceuticals organizations. Patrick joined Medtronic in December 2013, within the Diabetes Group business development and strategy (BD&S) team, focusing on innovative services and solutions that improve the lives of people with diabetes. Additionally, Patrick led strategy and commercial operations developing novel, innovative care models for clinicians treating people with diabetes. As Senior Director, Global Value Stream Excellence and Americas Offer to Cash (OTC) Program, Patrick led initiatives improving process across the entire value stream. Prior to Medtronic, Patrick held various positions within the Healthcare Investment Banking groups for Credit Suisse, UBS, and Ondra Partners. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Georgetown University. Patrick and his wife, Carla, live in Pasadena, California, and are kept busy with their three active boys Sebastian, Charlie, and Rhys. Patrick’s family passionately advocates for the inclusion of people with disabilities, particularly those with Down syndrome, since the diagnosis of DS in their youngest son, Rhys. They enjoy skiing together in the winter and supporting their favorite sports teams, the UCLA Bruins and Arsenal F.C.
