Rachel Martin is senior director of supply chain operations. In this role, she leads the solution strategy development for new products and services within Vizient’s supply chain operations portfolio based on a thorough understanding of the market, member needs and Vizient capabilities.

She has proven expertise in leading practices for supply chain management, operations, product strategy, product development, project management, and strategic planning.

Previously, she led the centralized operational support for Vizient’s large managed service (supply chain outsourcing) accounts. There she standardized the process for strategic planning and reporting operational performance. In this role, she also led a cross-functional team to develop, launch and manage a formal education program dedicated to improving the competencies of healthcare supply chain professionals.

Prior to joining Vizient, Rachel served in marketing and sales capacities within the industrial equipment and dental industries. 

Rachel graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  Rachel is a Wisconsin native and resides in Dallas, TX.
