With over 25 years of inventory, logistics and supply chain experience in medical device, Tommy has created processes and systems and managed the overall deployment of inventory throughout global supply chains while ensuring continuous improvement in asset management and cash flow. Areas directed include field operations, materials management, distribution, customer service, loaner services, purchasing, scheduling, planning, new product launch, field audits, reverse logistics, manufacturing, 3PL’s, and consignment services for some of the largest Orthopedic Medical Device Manufactures. Working closely with the Med Device distributor, Tommy has a unique perspective on the various touch and pain points that both the agency owner and manufacturer experiences when attempting to manage both implant inventory levels while driving asset utilization. His specialties are in strategy development, program planning and execution, operations/technology alignment and global customer operations with focus on improving supply chain performance, enhancing sales operations and driving asset utilization while strategically building customer relationships. Tommy holds a degree in accounting, BS in Management, an MBA in Operations, and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Alabama.
